|
Come watch the 2nd annual San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic will take place October 16th, 2010 at historic Kezar Stadium! Bay Area fans will have the opportunity to see some of the very best NCAA Division I players in the country when National Championship runner up Notre Dame squares off against perennial powerhouse Johns Hopkins. The event will feature free Youth and Coaches clinics with the Notre Dame and John’s Hopkins players and coaches. It should be a tremendous day, with 100% of the ticket proceeds going to the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation (BAYS). BAYS’ mission is to support programs that provide access to organized sports to underserved kids in the Bay Area. For more information about BAYS, and the support we were able to provide to some very innovative organizations as a result of last year’s event, check out www.sfbays.org. Tickets for the SF Fall Lacrosse Classic are on sale now and registration for the Clinics are available at www.sflacrosse.com. Please help us spread the word to friends, colleagues, and your school communities. We can’t wait to fill Kezar to the rafters. Anyone who emails the code "QUAK" to your members they will receive a $5 discount of the regular priced ticket. Some clubs are incorporating it into their registration system this Fall.

Congratulations to our coaches and all three of our teams that once again had very successful seasons in 2009. Our Senior U-15 moved up to the B1 division this season and made the NCJLA playoffs for the second year in a row. The team was less experienced than previous years but was able to pull together for 8 and 3 regular season record and came in second in their regional group. Our Junior U-13 team also moved up one level to the B1 division. They started out the season a little slow but played incredible team lacrosse the second half of the season and finished by winning 3 out of their last 4 games. Their regular season record was 5 and 7. Once again, our Lightning U-11 B team had a great season following their undefeated regular season last year. After dropping their first game, they went on an eleven game win streak to finish the season at 11 and 1. Unfortunately, there were no playoffs in 2009 for this division but we are sure they would have represented themselves well. We would like thank all the parents and players that participated in our 2009 season. We look forward to next Spring and remember to hit the wall and practice your weak hand. Go Quakes! |

It requires a commitment of two days a week in the late afternoon as well as Saturdays and some Sundays during the Spring. We will also ask you to complete a background check.
